The visual function is one of the very important sensory functions of the human body, and 80% of the information obtained from the outside world is realized by the eyes. 0-6 years old is a critical period for children’s vision development. Eye diseases in childhood are very harmful to children’s vision development. This stage of eye development has a decisive impact on children’s life. If many eye diseases cannot be detected and treated in a timely manner, it will cause a permanent disability of the eyes.

In order to provide a good medical platform for pediatric patients with eye diseases, a special pediatric ophthalmology department was established at the beginning of our hospital to address pediatric hereditary eye diseases, pediatric Vitreoretinal diseases, pediatric/ adult strabismus, amblyopia, myopia, double vision, and eyeballs. For eye diseases such as tremor, doctors in the pediatric eye disease department will choose the appropriate diagnosis and treatment for each eye disease patient to help them treat the eye disease as soon as possible.
